Sometimes it happens that a company with a great reputation has a logo, but unfortunately lacks a cohesive visual identity. This was the case with Visual Europe Group. However, by the end of our collaboration, everything finally came together.
Visual Europe Group is a 100% Hungarian-owned company with over 15 years of experience. Thanks to their continuous professional development and innovation, they have become one of the largest players in the event technology market, both in Hungary and across Central and Eastern Europe.
It’s always a challenge to work on a brand when the logo is already provided. In such cases, our hands are somewhat tied, and we have to adapt to the existing materials. However, we see the "bigger picture" and need to create a brand system where all elements not only fit together in the end but also align seamlessly with the pre-existing logo.
After the preliminary discussions, we already had a sense of the direction the client was thinking, so we organized a workshop to clarify their needs. We mapped out the client's market demands and reviewed the common scenarios where the brand would need to function in everyday situations. During the moodboarding process, we fine-tuned the envisioned directions and began our collaborative work. Since we were working with a visual company, we couldn't think only in static terms. We had to prepare the elements to be easily, yet impressively, animated in the future.
We started building the foundations of the brand from the micro elements and icons, gradually creating larger units to test the coherence of the brand. Thanks to the client’s continuous feedback, the materials became much clearer, and in the end, we crafted a visual identity that complemented their existing logo. At the same time, the brand’s appearance was refreshed with the addition of new elements. Since we proved to be a good team, our collaboration continues to this day through our subscription-based system.
Over the years, the Pantheon has become a gathering place for vintage car enthusiasts from Basel and the surrounding area. The impressive building houses a wonderful exhibition, and we have created a website that brings a piece of the past into the future.
