In the initial phase, the client wasn’t entirely sure about what and how they wanted to communicate with the brand. They referred to it more as a philosophy rather than a brand. However, after several meetings and a workshop, the expectations became clear. We documented these in writing. They expressed that, in some way, the infinity symbol represented the brand’s principles for them. However, it was expected that we present this in an unconventional form. The key concepts were: Visionary, Inclusive, Social Action-Oriented, Positive Impact, Creative vs. Corporate, Compassionate, and Empathetic.
During the design of the No End logo, our primary source of inspiration was the infinity symbol, which perfectly reflects the philosophy of No End. However, we put a unique twist on the symbol to deviate from its everyday appearance. This not only helps us avoid delivering a generic “stock” logo used by other brands but also provides a deeper interpretation of the new symbol.The symbol represents not only infinity but also connection—a fundamental, inseparable social bond that underpins the No End philosophy.By modifying the infinity symbol, the icon also signifies a beginning in the form of a “seed.” Each seed has the potential for growth and flourishing (action), thereby symbolizing positive change and a sustainable future.
The flexibility of a brand's visual identity can be effectively showcased through social media posts. Whether it’s a slogan, a pattern, or a simple element embedded within a brand image, deliberate usage can create an exciting yet cohesive appearance for No End. Pattern solutions are valuable supplementary elements for a brand's visual identity. For No End, their presence is important, but due to the brand's appearance, excessive use is not recommended. However, they can certainly be applied in specific instances, even in animated form. The three different patterns symbolize the three foundational pillars of the brand.
The simple form of the logo opened up numerous possibilities for us, allowing it to be incorporated or subtly hidden in various graphic materials. The simplicity of the symbol is perfectly balanced by the choice of a modern typeface, which also makes the overall appearance of the graphic materials more engaging. We primarily designed the logo for black-and-white use, but we created color combinations within the defined palette to facilitate the production of various content. Since content creation will mainly focus on social media posts during the brand’s early phase, we specifically tailored the materials for these scenarios. However, the simplicity of the form holds even more potential for the future, especially in terms of animated content.
